It is such a miserable way to start and end an otherwise great night. And then they were no where to be found when everyone was exiting-but it actually ran better that way. They almost caused more wrecks “directing” people then they helped. Lot F is farther to walk, but closer to the exit when you leave. If you are in the left lane, they route you to lot F. If you are in the far right, they will make you turn in to park in lots A and C-which are closer to the venue. Tips: If you are entering the venue from route 29, you can use the both lanes to get to the venue (the right lane backs up right about a mile away). But the rude little man with glasses and a beard who refused to tell us his name just couldn’t seem to think logically. And since we didn’t get to the lot until after the show already started, I don’t suspect there was goi g to be a rush of oversized vehicles. Wow! Seems like they shouldn’t sell the parking pass without asking what type of vehicle you have if they are going to restrict it. Parking attendant was incredibly rude and told us if we don’t go park somewhere else he was going to kick us out and not let us see the show. There were 3 vehicles in the area and a completely empty lot that could have held 40 oversized vehicles. We paid $60 for parking and then were told we couldn’t park there because the SUV wasn’t oversized enough. Show was great, but will NEVER return to venue. Still, it probably took 30+ min for us to move a few hundred yards and finally drive out of the venue. It also meant we didn't have to fight the MASSIVE amount of cars trying to leave the general parking area after the show. This allowed us to park very close to the venue, leaving us with a very short walk to the entry gates. It's just a poorly planned area with too few points of entry, and it can't really handle the volume of cars coming to see a big show.īest decision I made re: this show was to purchase a Premier Parking Pass. We left home intending to arrive at least 2 hours before the official start time.ended up spending 1 hour 20 min in traffic. The main drawback to this venue is the traffic/parking situation. Drink prices are stupidly high, but if you tailgate sufficiently ahead of time that won't be an issue. There's technically a rule against any chair that's over 9" off the ground.Īcoustics were really good and the huge screens on either side of the stage make sure you'll have a good visual no matter how far away from the stage you are. (Note that while some Lawn tix will show up as having a specific "row" when you purchase them, the Lawn section is basically a free-for-all.people just claim whatever spot they can.) Bringing lawn chairs/picnic blankets will come in handy as you stake your claim to a particular patch of grass. We had Gen Admission - Lawn seats for our show.
